MY GROUP
ABOUT MY GROUP
Anna facilitates a group titled My Group which addresses that which group members bring, such as: personal, relational life, wellness problems, depression, bereavement, suicidal feelings, experience difficulties or stress in social situations, may be healing from earlier painful life experiences, etc.
The group method is informed by group principles with an interest in unconscious individual and group dynamics. Through spontaneous conversation, mutual feedback from group members and the group conductor, members explore personal feelings, challenges and resources, seeking creative options and solutions.

WHAT WILL I GET OUT OF IT
An environment in which confidentiality and safe boundaries are maintained provides a container conducive for authentic sharing where group members may gain new insights into old problems. Some other potential benefits are:
• Group work is cost-effective
• A pleasant and secure environment
• Mutual emotional support
• Improved self-awareness and confidence in groups
• Opportunity to bring healing to earlier psychological injuries
• Opportunities for meaningful interaction and insight with people from different cultures,
backgrounds and occupations
• Group skills, attitudes and behaviours which can also be applied to group settings in day to day life.
• Improve communication and listening skills
• Develop cultural consciousness

Group sessions
Weekly for 90 minutes
Assessment interviews
Individual interviews consist of three sessions with each applicant to discuss suitability, fit and mutual expectations.
---
Spaces are still available. The maximum group size is 9 members. The conductor will invite new members from time to time to maintain group numbers.
People who have recent experienced trauma may need to attend individual trauma debriefing with the group conductor before assessment interviews for the group.
